Every record, receipt and manual for your boat in one place.
About
My Boat Notes is a free app for cruising boat owners. Owners add surveys, manuals, service records and receipts, or simply type what they know about their boat. Then they ask a question, like what size zincs she takes or when the raw-water impeller was last changed, and the answer comes from their own records. It also keeps a log of trips and cruising notes.
My Boat Notes is built by boat owners, with an experienced team of engineers behind them, and powered by Trovia. It is free on iPhone, Android and the web at myboatnotes.com.
The story
Two years ago, Aaron Rallo and his wife bought their third boat together. Learning her systems was a steep curve, and everything they needed to know about her was scattered across land and sea: manuals in one place, receipts in another, the previous captain’s how-tos buried in a text message.
They had the information. It just was never where they needed it. A receipt in a box at home doesn’t help at the parts counter. And when the mechanic on the dock asks when the impeller was last changed, the answer is in an email that can't be found.
So they built My Boat Notes. One place for their boats records that goes wherever they go. Now when they need an answer about her, it’s on the phone, and it comes from their own records.
